Looking back leads you ahead

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I come from a complex background. The older I get, I’m able to turn my trauma to triumphs. I only did it by looking back at the past and moved forward

We all have “dots” things that are like landmarks or icons that have  happened to make us who we are in this present moment. From the way react or act in situations or circumstances as well as how we perceive the world to how we communicate with others.

I always touch base with my “dots” to give myself compassion as well as awareness to self improvement. It also helps if you’re able to keep in mind that everyone has “dots”.

So, perhaps someone hurts you and you think about their “dots”, maybe you won’t be hurt as much. You’ll see that most of the time it’s not you. It’s their “dots” and they are doing the best they can with what they have been given and know. Just like you!

Refecting in the past helps you have a better future. Dwelling in the past makes you stuck. Reflect on the past to obtain the best reflection of you in the future!

What’s your take on this?
