How often do you walk or run?

I’m going to be coming from a metaphorical view on this blog. Life and its terms sometimes demands running. Other times it requires a slower pace approach as in walking.
Walking and running through life is a choice and when the appropriate time to do one or another, is self discipline. Society has a high demand for a fast pace approach, but is that always the right way? Or is a slower pace approach better?
Depends on what life is handing you all at one time. Running errands, running to make the bills, running to your next appointment are all normal sounding right? So when do we walk?
There’s no “have too’s” in life. Everything we do in life is truthfully by choice. Sometimes situations are so difficult to even comprehend, that running to deal with it, just sounds exhausting. Perhaps walking into life challenges may be more mindful vs emotional; you act vs react and maybe even feel relaxed vs stressed no matter if the situation is serious or not.
Running or approaching anything too fast may jeopardize the outcome. Walking or slowly approaching anything may also jeopardize the outcome. So, as we are all individuals, created perfectly and uniquely by what we believe is as our higher power, makes it only within ourselves that we examine and prioritize what pace we should take with our daily lives.
Do we factor in cherishing, mourning, relaxing or the opposite of those mentioned above.
I end with this piece of advice….some things in life require you running smack dab into it with no warning or directions and that’s called taking a chance. Sometimes it can be scary and sometimes it can be uplifting. But take note walking into circumstances like your health, recovery, family, friends and those life events that makes memories are what really matters the most. They keep you grounded, sane and curious. That’s definitely something you don’t rush.
So when it came to the race with the tortoise and the rabbit, the rabbit laughed at the tortoise for being so slow. Nonetheless the tortoise asked to race. The rabbit, at his high pace run, thought he could stop and take a break, but he fell asleep and for too long at that. The tortoise kept at his slow pace. When the rabbit woke up, thinking he could definitely pass the tortoise. It was to his surprise that the tortoise had already finished the race. Moral…never underestimate the weakest opponent. Even though you may walk through a lot of things in life that doesn’t mean you’re the weakest opponent. Just means that you took some time, at your pace, made some memories, and didn’t live by societies fast paced requirements in this fallen world. Sounds like a win-win to me and lessons learned. Running doesn’t always win! Take it one day at a time or even one moment at a time!

What’s your take on this?
