What’s your favorite recipe?

It was the best hot dish ever made by my Grandmother. She called it her red hot dish. She would always make it when she had all us grandchildren over. As we eagerly sat at the supper table to eat her famous red hot dish, my grandpa would manage to “show by example”, all of us his style of eating the hot dish. Which was taking his fork and jabbing each noodle into the dish to collect as many noodles as he could onto the fork before he took a bite. By the time it was all said and done by Grandmas witty approach on us teaching us manners. My Grandpa had all us grandchildren participating in his way of eating the hot dish and little giggles were bursting out. At the time it was all in good humor, as we all made memories, laughing together, learning table manners and eating grandma’s red hot dish and that’s what makes it “MY FAVORITE” recipe in my view, sitting from the table I grew from.
