Avoid

Kara Malvin Avatar

Your life is of despair, and it might seem that its therapeutic, soothing, and rewarding to help others in times of despair because you know the feeling. You’re probably thinking that perhaps relating to others and guiding them to their happiness is your path to happiness. Is It? Or is it that metaphor that if you don’t address it or face it, then it doesn’t exist…. Or maybe what I described really just the reality of avoidance?

Who defines you? The people who call out the names and titles? Or the reaction you exhibit to their action in doing so? Only you can mold yourself into the person you want to be in that current moment. Your reaction to others ways of defining you; defines you.. This is where the famous saying “easier said then done” comes in. Even if you don’t hold yourself accountable, it’s unavoidable because someone else will for you. Probably the same person who’s problems you didn’t avoid, just so you could avoid your own.
